Singapore International Festival of Arts exploring ways for local groups to showcase works digitally

In Parliament on March 25, concerns were also raised over the support for the arts community amid the COVID-19 outbreak. With the annual Singapore International Festival of Arts (SIFA) being cancelled, some MPs asked if ticket refunds could be channelled to donations instead. Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Culture, Community and Youth Baey Yam Keng encouraged arts groups to adapt their productions to suit a digital-based presentation format.
